How these are worked out
Delivered price is the record price plus a heater where one is sold separately, so a cabin that arrives without its heater is not compared against one that arrives with it. Cost per session divides the delivered price across the session assumptions stated below. Both derive from the record; neither is typed by hand.
Assumptions: electricity at $0.17 per kWh (US average), cost per session over 3 years at about 1 session per week (price divided by 156), sauna running cost at a 30-minute session. These are estimates for comparison, not quotes.

| Ownership | What it means |
|---|---|
| Upkeep | The filter is checked and cleaned on usage, and replaced on the chiller manufacturer's schedule rather than a general one. Ozone or UV built into a chiller reduces the chemical load but the sources are explicit that it does not replace sanitiser on a shared or heavily used tub. Water chemistry still applies to the tub it serves. |
| What you rebuy | Replacement filter cartridge (interval per the chiller manufacturer) |
