Three form factors for three different needs. Which type of red light device matches your goals and budget.
Panels ($170–$1,200)
Wall-mounted or door-hung panels are the most versatile option. They cover large treatment areas (full body with larger panels), offer both red and NIR wavelengths, and deliver the highest irradiance of any form factor.
Best for: Serious users who want full-body treatment. Athletes, skin health, general wellness.
Downsides: Not portable, requires wall space, higher price for full-body models.
LED Face Masks ($60–$400)
Wearable masks that target the face and neck. Typically red-only (no NIR). Convenient for skin care routines: put it on and go about your business.
Best for: Skin care focused users. Anti-aging, acne, complexion.
Downsides: Face-only. Lower irradiance than panels. Not useful for pain/recovery.
Portable Wraps ($200–$600)
Flexible, battery-powered devices that wrap around specific body parts (knees, shoulders, back). The most targeted option.
Best for: Targeted pain relief. Athletes with specific injury sites. Travel.
Downsides: Small treatment area. Not practical for full-body use.
Which Should You Get?
First device? Start with a mid-size panel ($300–$600). It covers the most use cases and offers the best value per treatment area.
Skin care only? An LED mask is more convenient if you only care about facial skin.
Knee/joint pain? A wrap like the FlexBeam gives you portability and targeted treatment that a panel can't match.
Serious about it? A full-body panel ($850–$1,200) plus a wrap for targeted work is the optimal setup.
