Almost Heaven includes the heater and rocks. Dundalk and SaunaLife do not. A quality electric heater adds $500-1,500 to the real cost. Factor this in when comparing prices. A $5,715 Pinnacle with heater is effectively cheaper than a $5,724 Serenity without one.
Barrel size and comfort
6x4 ft (Salem): Two people. Snug. Good for solo sessions and couples. 6x6 ft (Pinnacle): Four people comfortably. This is the sweet spot for most buyers. Anything larger (6x8+) exists but gets expensive and heavy fast. If you're over 6'2", check interior standing height before ordering.

Yes. The curved walls create natural convection that pushes hot air down toward the benches. A barrel sauna typically reaches operating temperature 10-15 minutes faster than a comparable cabin sauna. Less dead air space above means less wasted heat.
Do I need a backrest in a barrel sauna?
